Beauty Launches Program for Research on Cancer
Portugal will have the exclusive first center for research, prevention and treatment of cancer metastases. The announcement was made on Saturday by the president of the Foundation Champallimaud, Leonor Beleza.
This is an investment of two million euros in a project that starts this month and involves partnerships with prestigious American universities Weil Cornell, Harvard and Princeton. The programs, led by scientists David Lyden, Raghu Kalluri and Yibin Kang, Champallimaud are supported by the Foundation for a period of five years, ie until May 2014. Read the rest of this entry »
